I retrieved the original text, which was branded as copyvio after the Montgomery Advertiser borrowed the wikipedia article without attribution. I eliminated the reference to

by Hollinger F. Barnard and Studs Terkel

in the citation to Virginia Durr's autobiography; Barnard edited it and Terkel contributed a foreword.

As the wealth of sources indicates, this article could use some further work. It is not, however a stub any longer. Italo Svevo 03:45, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Middle initial

Contemporary issues of Broadcasting always refer to him as C. J. Durr or Clifford J. Durr. But one of the references here says Clifford B. Durr. Which is right? 121a0012 (talk) 02:23, 2 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
