Racial Classification
[edit]The label for the image (Cliffhangers.jpg) says, "Drew Carey explaining Cliff Hangers to a black contestant". I believe that classifying the contenstant as black has absolutely no relevance. I therefore suggest that it is removed Bbosh (talk) 22:30, 13 December 2007 (UTC)
Trivia
[edit]I dispute the appearances outside TPIR section as trivia. It forms a basis of notability for Plinko as a pop culture icon TheHYPO 05:17, 9 October 2007 (UTC)
- Is it safe to assume you mean Cliff Hangers? -TPIRFanSteve 17:03, 10 October 2007 (UTC)
$1,000,000 Spectacular
[edit]It was played for a five digit patio prize package so is this info relevant? Jungworld.com (talk) 18:34, 6 March 2008 (UTC)
Record
[edit]Would including the record for fewest total steps in a playing of the game (1, in 1971) be notable enough for inclusion or would that be WP: TRIVIA? TySoltaur (talk) 23:16, 26 May 2011 (UTC)
- The information is trivia and not necessary to increase the understanding of the article subject. Also, a YouTube video is an unacceptable link per WP standards since the material posted on YT is a copyright violation. Ѕōŧŧōľäċqǔä (talk) 00:14, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
- Fair enough TySoltaur (talk) 00:29, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
- And for the record, TPIR (CBS) started in 1972, and Cliff Hangers was introduced in '76. Neither started in '71. WikiLubber (talk) 00:55, 27 May 2011 (UTC)
- And also, the record is 0 (when some contestants priced all 3 prizes on the nose), not 1. WikiLubber (talk) 03:28, 27 May 2011 (UTC)

Car
[edit]I was very young when I saw this (mid-'80s) but didn't they replace the mountain climber with a car one time? I only saw that happen once. 76.205.172.225 (talk) 15:46, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- Nope. I think you must've had it confused with It's Optional. WikiLubber (talk) 17:37, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
Merge List of The Price Is Right pricing games per AFD close
[edit]Except for one sentence, this was a copy of the section in List of The Price Is Right pricing games I moved the one section over and redirected. So, that was easy. North8000 (talk) 20:49, 1 September 2011 (UTC)
