We have clearways in the UK as well, so they're not just an Australian thing. I'll try to find enough detail to add a section. Loganberry (Talk) 21:17, 4 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

-- Sorry Loganberry, I really ought to have started reading these talk pages earlier! I'm sure there's plenty more to add to what I've written though; references to the Highway Code (it must be available online somewhere) or similar perhaps. I'm not trying to tread on your toes! I will, however, make up a clearway sign in MS Paint to illustrate. --Peeky44 10:11, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, no problem: for one thing, I wrote my comment a year ago and had completely forgotten about it! But as it happens I should be able to get a better photo of a clearway sign in the next week or two, and I'd be quite happy to release it as PD, so I'll upload that when I can. Just to say that I haven't forgotten about this: the weather was dreadful when I had some free time recently, but I will get a photo when I can. Loganberry (Talk) 14:48, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
All right; done! It's not fantastic, but it's sharper than the older one. Loganberry (Talk) 22:01, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've added info about New Zealand clearways. Dunno where else they exist - South Africa, perhaps? Grutness...wha? 08:05, 3 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
