Deletion

I'm recommending that this article be deleted in that it has no TRUE sources stating any of the information and that it discredits Dr.LaVey who has already made the claim (which is common knowledge) of him being the actor who played Satan. Such articles are in of them selves vandalism.

I have also deleted the stub labels in that this person hasn't even be verified of being an actual person. Clay Tanner is probably just a common stage name for actors to use. please stop putting utter nonsense on Wikipedia or you will be given a warning of vandalism. unlike you, I will remain in wiki policy and give you a friendly heads up before I mark your page with Vandalism warnings!

I agree that this article should be deleted. CLay Tanner isn't anything more than a stage name used by several actors. These Lavey bashers need to stop putting bogus info on this site just to discredit LaVey. I'll be checkin' on some wikipolicies or whatever to get this page sent to the trash can! Does anyone know where I can find a biography (and page number would help) or official interview in which LaVey, himself, makes such a claim?

Anton LaVey, himself, does not make this claim, the gentlemen interviewing him makes that statement in the introduction (not during the interview, Anton LaVey would have no chance to contradict)

I realize that we could pile on many websites that back up his involvement, but none of these mention any sources at all! We do however have info from primary sources claiming he was not. Name

I found a source from 1962 that states that Clay Tanner's birthname is Alan L. Honaker here. The timeline seems to match up seamlessly in that his first role is listed as the 1963 film A Gathering of Eagles, where he played the very minor role of "patient" and from 1963 onwards the "Clay Tanner" moniker starts popping up in IMDB listings etc. I added the info to the article, but I removed it as I wasn't absolutely confident that they are indeed the same person. Perhaps someone has another source that can definitively confirm or dismiss the birthname? --Jezebel'sPonyo^shhh 16:45, 28 October 2009 (UTC)
