Australia Provincial & Australian Capital Territory state baseball team
[edit]Just reading through the article and noticed that ACT state baseball team is a redirect to Australia Provincial, however i don't think this is correct.
The Australia Provincial team was created to represent the provincial leagues and states, e.g. ACT, NT, NSW Country, SA Country and the Victorian Provincial Baseball league, not just the ACT as the redirect implies. Although by the time the Australian Provincial team played in its last Claxton Shield it was more of a left overs team, that was the original idea behind it. --Dan027 (talk) 11:25, 12 February 2013 (UTC)
- I don't know much about this era of Australian baseball. But if it was created to represent different areas as you say, then in the absence of a team solely representing the ACT, then it seems to me that Australia Provincial is the next closest thing.
