The castle that is depicted on this page is Lauriston at Edinburgh as is the link provided off this page. The castle held by the Stratons was at Lauriston, near Montrose. You may like to change the picture and the link. You also mention that the family held Lauriston from the thirteenth century; not having read the source can you tell me the original source material as the source is elusive. Hi, I have changed the link to Lauriston Castle, Aberdeenshire - which is the correct castle, although I have the source book which places it in the neighbouring county of Kincardineshire.QuintusPetillius (talk) 16:16, 21 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
