Comments
- I'm going to struggle with this: it's so short that I will find it hard to classify it, no matter how good, as a good article. But I'll review anyway.
- Is there a map available? It's going to be very hard for most of us to visualise where this is without one.
- "Ireland" is it really "the Republic of Ireland"?
- " the Civil Parish of " no need for either to be capitalised.
- Is Tullaghobegly worthy of a red link?
- There should be a hatnote at Clady River directing people here if they didn't mean that particular river...
- "Bunbeg Quay" don't part-link formal names.
- "is effectively an" what is "effectively" bringing to this encyclopedia?
- "crosses the Clady River near its source, crossing" repetitive use of "cross" here.
- "runs alongside the Clady River, this road running along" likewise "runs/running... along/alongside"
- "the E.S.B. built" who? Expand.
- "The power station, officially called Clady Power Station" you don't need to repeat "The power station..."
- " A 'canal' was " why in quotes?
- "Gweedore Weir" see above re: part-links.
- "The 'spent water' from" whaaat? why in quotes??
- "This power station, which was built between 1954 and 1959, " you already said it was built in the 1950s. And why "This", not just "The"?
- Bare URLs will suffer from WP:LINKROT so fix that.
- Are there any more geographical-specific categories which can be considered, like Category:Geography of County Donegal?
For me, it's too short for a GA. But if you address these issues and find some more material, I'll re-consider. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 17:16, 7 September 2021 (UTC)
- Laggan Boy I think it's best if I close this off given the rate of progress on the other GAN of yours I'm reviewing. Unless you have a better idea? It's been 10 days here. The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 07:28, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
No, that sounds fine. Thank you once again for taking the time to review this. I'll try and add more information to the article. Thanks again. Laggan Boy (talk) 08:31, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
- Ok, no problem. Perhaps best to work (and nominate) one thing at a time if you're particularly busy. But in any case, the comments are here for when you do get the time. Cheers! The Rambling Man (Keep wearing the mask...) 09:08, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
Good man. And thank-you once again. 😁 Laggan Boy (talk) 14:22, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
And, as regards Ireland, when I use the term 'Ireland' I always mean Ireland, the entire country of 32 counties. But I never 'blue link' it as it seems to be too controversial. When I specifically mean the Twenty-Six Counties, I always use the term Republic of Ireland. Laggan Boy (talk) 14:27, 17 September 2021 (UTC)
