Limited police authority
[edit]According to David Icke (I believe) these officers are going to be issued extended authorities in a declared emergency state. If this can be verified we should include something about this in the article. __meco (talk) 09:20, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
- According to David Icke, the royal family are lizards. And I'm not joking. But supposing we are to listen to him for just a split second, the Civil Contingencies Act 2004 (under which emergency powers are granted) makes no differentiation between any type of person in terms of emergency regulations. ninety:one 21:32, 24 November 2008 (UTC)
