Assess : newly added and existing articles, maybe nominate some good B-class articles for GA; independently assess some as A-class, regardless of GA status.
Cleanup : * Sport governing body (this should-be-major article is in a shameful state) * Field hockey (History section needs sources and accurate information - very vague at the moment.) * Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing. * Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."

A fact from City Dump: The Story of the 1951 CCNY Basketball Scandal appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 13 November 2021 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
The following is an archived discussion of the DYK nomination of the article below. Please do not modify this page. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as this nomination's talk page, the article's talk page or Wikipedia talk:Did you know), unless there is consensus to re-open the discussion at this page. No further edits should be made to this page.
Overall: Article has been 5x expanded within the review period. Meets length expectations and is sourced adequately. Tone is neutral. QPQ is done. Hook is cited and is interesting. Picture used in the article is used under fair use rationale which seems alright, but, if that is not true, please let me know. All-in-all this is a good DYK. My request to the author of the article / DYK would be to see if the article can be further fleshed out. E.g. The makers of the documentary did not speak to the accused for the documentary, did it result in a claim of a skewed portrayal? Ktin (talk) 03:20, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The approved hook is not nearly as clear as it ought to be: rather than "all...were not interviewed", it's more straightforward to say "none...were interviewed":
I would suggest that the article itself also be revised to give a more direct wording. The cited source does go on to say that the surviving players did not agree to be interviewed for the documentary, which I think should also be added to the article. If so, another ALT could be feasible:
Thanks BlueMoonset. @SL93: I can see why ALT0A might read better. See if you'd want to consider that. If so, please do edit the article as well. I feel ALT0a reads better than ALT0b. Also, there might be some opportunity for expansion. Ktin (talk) 06:32, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Ktin I couldn't verify that it resulted in a skewed portrayal, but I did add that the players were not disparaged in the film. I'm fine with either ALT0a or ALT0b. SL93 (talk) 15:00, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@SL93: Quick check - what's the sourcing for the cast of the documentary? Seems like some of the cast is not sourced? Is that because the documentary itself is considered as the source for the cast? Ktin (talk) 02:26, 18 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@KTIN: They are all sourced already. The first two cast members are sourced to "Bark, Ed (March 24, 1998). "HBO Film Recalls '51 Hoops Scandal". The Sun-Sentinel. Retrieved October 17, 2021." The rest of them are sourced to “`City Dump’ Story of ’50s Basketball Scandal on HBO.” New York Amsterdam News, vol. 89, no. 12, 19 Mar. 1998, p. 26.
