Query on article
[edit]@Robertsky: On the article, would joint-venture projects like those with CapitaLand be relevant to the article's history? Thanks. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 18:42, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- @TheGreatSG'rean: not sure, depending on the motivation of the joint ventures I suppose. I am reading things like 'synergies' between the companies, which doesn't give us any deeper meaning. https://ir.cdl.com.sg/static-files/9fc32cd1-5eb2-4868-ac9d-e1ff64c5bae6 https://www.businesstimes.com.sg/real-estate/capitaland-and-cdl-team-up-again-this-time-for-sengkang-mixed-development – robertsky (talk) 18:54, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- There's also another one back in 2007 called Botania. The JVs are supposed to create big developments if I'm not wrong. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 19:16, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- JVs are dime a dozen. Not all need to be mentioned. I think there are notable ones like the Liang Court redevelopment project, primarily due to how the land parcel and different properties being owned by different companies over a long a period of time. https://ir.cdl.com.sg/static-files/f254c891-12f6-41b1-9831-79369349990e – robertsky (talk) 19:57, 6 June 2020 (UTC)
- If its a first project by a JV, I think that would be notable? In addition, I'm coming out with a list similar to CapitaLand article for notable projects. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 04:20, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- I think so. Ehhh... Don't develop a list/table like in CapitaLand's article hor. WP:NOTDIR. I haven't get rid of it cuz still in the midst of creating a NavBox template for CPL. – robertsky (talk) 05:31, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- Noted. I'm going to create a category for CDL soon. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 10:40, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

Potential DYK nom?
[edit]@TheGreatSG'rean: Thinking of DYK this article, with the show house hook. However, it may face two issues. First, the COI contributions, which we can resolve by factchecking, repositioning and/or minimising them. Second, prior AfDs. I am uncertain how it would affect the nomination process. Do you think previous AfDs will disqualify the nom? – robertsky (talk) 07:13, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
- I'm not sure about that, but if its given without COI, maybe can pass. We shall see. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 10:39, 7 June 2020 (UTC)
Headquarters
[edit]@TheGreatSG'rean: The headquarters should be at Republic Plaza, no? At least this is the latest news so far? https://www.citicommercial.com.sg/news/wework-set-to-grow-singapore-footprint-to-over-300000-sq-ft – robertsky (talk) 06:10, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
- Maybe I was confused with actual HQ and operational HQ. I've checked and found that Republic Plaza is indeed CDL's HQ now. Apologies for the confusion. TheGreatSG'rean (talk) 06:13, 8 June 2020 (UTC)
