Why are people, specifically IP 130.63.101.45, editing this article to say that the CityNews channel has gone off air? It has NOT gone off air. It's 3:49pm and I'm watching it right now. They've done stories on the Ikea Monkey case, the Timothy Bosma murder investigation, Brian Johnston and Kia Nejatian quitting Ford's staff, done two weather updates/checks and two traffic updates. More importantly, there are no independent sources that prove it has gone off air. Currently, there are only reports saying that Rogers plans to take the station off air. [1]. In summary, stop vandalizing shit. TorontoWriter06 (talk) 19:50, 30 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

According to a post at radiodiscussions.com about the recent Toronto floodings, as of July 11, the station is still on the air, with traffic cams, tickers and 680 News voiceover. Maybe Rogers is keeping the bare bones version on until it finds something else they could do with it? -- azumanga (talk) 03:09, 14 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
