Banc One & current existence of CRBC
[edit]- moved from User talk:192.153.163.35
It is "Bank" One not "Banc" One. They spelled it wrong. Look up Banc One and you won't find anything.
Ciizens Republic Bancorp is still a corporate entity, It is just owned by FirstMerit Banking Corporation. I know because I talked to one of the board of directors at the CRBC Headquarters in Flint. They just use the FirstMerit name right now to keep things simple. 192.153.163.35 (talk)
- I did look it up you did not. Bank One was Banc One premerger with First Chicago NBD and there was at least another Banc One.
- Flint Journal source: "Feb. 28, 1995 -- Acquires Banc One's four Michigan Banks -- East Lansing, Fenton, Sturgis and Ypsilanti."
- Banc One To Acquire First Usa Of Dallas
- Banc One Faces A Rocky Act Two
- Talking to one of the board of directors is not a verifiable source.
- [http://www.dleg.state.mi.us/bcs_corp/dt_corp.asp?id_nbr=031208&name_entity=CITIZENS%20REPUBLIC%20BANCORP Michigan State Business Entity search} show that CITIZENS REPUBLIC BANCORP, INC. was merged therefor doesn't exist any more. Spshu (talk) 16:35, 23 February 2015 (UTC)
Editing
[edit]The history section is adapted from a timeline. As a result, the paragraphs have no internal continuity and are only disjointed sentences that jump from topic to topic.Goldnpuppy (talk) 20:18, 30 May 2014 (UTC)
