The history part reads more like a list than anything else, and should probably be revised. -- Robin (blodmangelNOSPAM@gmail.com)

Umm... Corporate media? Massacre? CIA backed gangs? Who wrote this article? --Prime642 17:38, 15 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

This page needs major revision. It is extremely POV. --anon

The article has been revised and footnote citations provided. Please review and provide feedback. Thanks! Sincerely, Mattisse 23:27, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Great clean-up on the article. However, there does appear to be a little redunancy in a place or two. We can eliminate this with a slight restructuring. I will ponder the best way to go about doing this and begin soon. --Staugbeachbum —Preceding undated comment added 00:02, 1 August 2009 (UTC).[reply]

This page needs to be updated. I don't see anything past 2007. A lot can change in two years. Food for the Poor is doing great work there. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Seasongrrl (talkcontribs) 20:20, 12 December 2009(UTC)

Is there anything in particular which has changed which you think should be mentioned? JamesBWatson (talk) 20:43, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
It is difficult to find anything recent about Cité Soleil that isn't related to an advocacy group or government propaganda, from my brief search for references. Regards, —mattisse (Talk) 20:53, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

This page is so out of date. I've been here since 2007. This page paints a very subjective picture. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sweetshrimp (talkcontribs) 00:24, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone have updated reliable sources to verify updated information? Regards, —mattisse (Talk) 01:06, 27 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

History

[edit]

Has anyone seen a source for the history of the town before 1999? An interview with Amaral Duclona indicates that it has existed since at least 1979, but I haven't been able to find an older reference on-line.

Does anyone with access to a newspaper archive fancy fleshing things out? Aoeuidhtns (talk) 03:49, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit Suggestion for Current Status

[edit]

MINUSTAH is no longer, it was replaced 4 years ago. There aren't as many UN peacekeepers in Haiti as there used to be. 64.202.81.249 (talk) 02:25, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
