Contested deletion

[edit]

This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... This artist has 15 cited external links from the likes of The New York Times, actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt, All Music Guide, IMDB, New Haven Register. He has scored or performed music on no less than 8 films, including big budget Hollywood films like Don Jon and The Brothers Bloom. He's performed in bands like Son Lux who has received tons of recognition from Pitchfork, CMJ, Rolling Stone, Spin Magazine. He's released three full length albums and three EPs under his own name as well as toured the US multiple times in multiple bands. He's also one of a few artists in the world to play glass harp in a pop music context. He's about to release a limited edition vinyl record to benefit a group fighting child trafficking. Really uncertain how you can consider him not important. --98.223.101.40 (talk) 17:48, 3 April 2014 (UTC) Thanks, livemusicfanatic[reply]

In the lead, please cite a credible claim of significance. Something like "He is known for X, Y, and Z." and then the tag would be void. Ging287 (talk) 18:06, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]

OK, I think that's all good now. Thank you for your constructive feedback. livemusicfanatic — Preceding undated comment added 18:42, 3 April 2014 (UTC)[reply]
