Cibo is arguably the main character of Blame!, in so as far as she's the only character that ever transforms. However, she is regressive; after the Sanakan body is destroyed, Cibo becomes progressively weaker and meeker; first, she reverts back to a human body, and second, she becomes a barely-aware doll, who knows only the importance of her orb. Lastly, she reverts to a child; losing her memories and becoming a figurative ghost within the netsphere, having neither responsibilities or goals beyond waiting.
