[edit]"The group had a communal lifestyle, with Traill maintaining that only he can understand the true meaning of the words of God. "
I was a member for a year. Traill was a lot of things, but he never claimed this. 24.67.72.62 (talk) 02:33, 20 May 2011 (UTC)
- I was a member when I was just 14. The majority of "center leaders" were no more than 25 years at most, and the converts (lambs) in the D.C. metropolitan area usually ranged between 13-19 years old during my time there from 1974-1976. Traill increasingly professed to have the only interpretation of the Bible, and was the oldest member at age 40 yrs. Newsweek magazine actually published an article about the number of runaways hidden in their "fellowship" houses. Those are the kinds of documents that would help support the article. Look for 1974-1975 when the group found they were no longer the "Forever Family" but COBU. I left just in time realizing it was becoming a cult. --Leahtwosaints (talk) 23:38, 17 January 2016 (UTC)
