To whomever reverted my edits about some Mormons wearing purple on Tuesdays: It is tradition for some Mormons to wear purple to their Tuesday Institute classes. The Oakland-Berkeley University Ward does so. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 108.221.16.204 (talk) 05:23, 5 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hand clapping and Shouts

[edit]

In Europe, it is a faux pas to applaud during church service; also no spontaneous shouts like "hallelujah", "praise the lord" or "amen" are uttered by the audience. It is seen as disrespectful disturbance towards the priest to interrupt the church service with this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2003:C0:DBD4:BA00:548F:ED4C:55CB:4135 (talk) 10:54, 18 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
