Chuck Plotkin is a notable recording engineer - he's recorded albums for quote a number of major artists (most notably every Bruce Springsteen album of the last 30 years).
He is undeniably notable - but, like a lot of recording engineers, somewhat unsung. There is a certain paucity of reference to him on the web (although he is noted quite a bit on album covers and in print (notably Dave Marsh's Springsteen biographies).
Please knock off the tagging overkill. The article will be (and has, slowly, been) filled in as time permits.
