EFEO
[edit]I added EFEO transliteration, since these often enough appear in English language works, especially older works which rely on French sources. Dcattell (talk) 21:49, 23 January 2013 (UTC)
Hawkes translation
[edit]The treatment of Hawkes's translations here should be cleaned up since he's very clear that he never substantially rewrote what were mostly student projects from 1948 to 1951. Everything after his 1955 "On the Problem of Date and Authorship in Ch'u Tz'u" simply consisted of reprints with only the most egregious mistakes emended. Even "in preparing [a] completely new edition... [he] altered the translations as little as possible, not so much because [he was] confident that they are right, as from a feeling that they were made by a young man... whose work [he was] not entitled to deface". Our bibliography and discussion should reflect that. — LlywelynII 21:35, 15 December 2017 (UTC)
