Legend says that Chyrseis was taken to Argos by Diomedes, King of Argos. She is also the only reason Troy fell.

Response: Troy fell because of Paris(and a bunch of other factors). Chryseis arriving actually negatively affected the Greek side because of the wrath of the god Apollo.

Unanimous decision?

I thought that some of the soldiers objected to it on the grounds her father was a priest and felt he was being disrespected?

That was the impression I got when I read it.
