Is what I said correct? I just want to make sure.

A third ring is retired The band listing the 1953–54 to 1964–65 Cup winners is scheduled to be retired following the crowning of the 2017–18 champions, the Washington Capitals. The band was retired on October 1, 2018. Season Winning Team Engravings Added 2017–18 Washington Capitals, plus 52 names (a few players who didn't qualify left off.)
