Is this the proper name of the list? Shouldn't it be Chronological list of women's major golf champions? LPGA was founded in 1950 so the winners between 1930 and 1949 were not members of the LPGA, and winners of a major can still be from outside LPGA. //StefanB sv 19:46, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- But that isn't 100% correct either because unlike the men's majors they aren't globally recognised. The two majors on the Ladies European Tour are the Women's British Open and the Evian Masters and the JLPGA, which is the second richest tour, has its own set of majors. If a non-LPGA player wins one of these tournaments the event is still an LPGA major. There is no way to make the title 100% perfect without making it even longer, but this seems to be the best option. These are the major winners now recognised by the LPGA. Table Mix Up
[edit]I'm not sure what's going on with the table in this article. Why all the zeros in the Majors Won column? Did someone confuse this section as being "other majors won" in addition to the first major? I'm getting to work fixing it. Big job. --Crunch (talk) 01:24, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
- Fixed them all. Tewapack (talk) 22:10, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
