There seems to be some disagreement on whether Season 6 of Desperate Housewives takes place in the year 2010 or 2015. I personally believe it takes place during the year 2015. There is a lot of evidence to prove that it does not occur in 2010. At the beginning of the series, during the flashback when Mary Alice reveals her mystery, a nearby calendar reads "March 1990". This episode originally aired in 2005. She also mentions that this flashback occurred 15 years ago. This proves that the show took place in correspondence with the present, until the closure of season 4. In Season 5, in which was clearly presented as 5 years later, many characters reflect on an event that took place in season 4 and say "that was 5 years ago". For example, when Gabrielle refers to her affair with John Rowland, she tells Ana Solis that it occurred "10 years ago". Desperate Housewives has only been on the air for less than 6 years. All of the children were also replaced before season 5 to accommodate this time change. As a result of the proof displayed above, the trivia that is written in the notes section is useful and very relevant information.

Sunday in the Park with George

[edit]

The phrase "Chromolume No. 7" is a reference to the Sondheim musical Sunday in the Park with George and a follow-up to Sunday in the Park with George (Desperate Housewives). This article really is incomplete without a mention of the musical--in fact there should maybe be a disambiguation page because few searching for Chromolume No. 7 will be searching for Desperate Housewives. If google is any indication, there will be people looking for the musical, then people looking for the artistic technique used by George Serrat, then people looking for Desperate Housewives and other references like Songs for a New World. But I'm not qualified to make the change. Thoughts? --Mrcolj (talk) 19:27, 12 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
