[edit]

The content in the Side effects and toxicity may be of better placement in the Chromium article, Biological role section. But without the in vitro content. David notMD (talk) 10:19, 2 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted content and ref that were based solely on animal studies (mice, rats, fruit flies). Also deleted older (2006 & 2007) reviews and replaced with newer meta-analyses. Deleted safety section, as the examples were case studies. Some content copied into this article from Chromium article, but not attributed in the Edit summary, as I had written the content that was copied from Chromium. Suggest a WP:MERGETEXT with Chromium, Biological role indicated by David notMD 6 years ago. Agree, Smokefoot? I'll take the job. Zefr (talk) 02:20, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I agree that this merger should be done. Two more recent meta-analyses (PMID 33783683 (2022) and PMID 32730903 (2020)) should be considered as refs. And delete the older meta-analyses refs. David notMD (talk) 03:32, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Agree with merge. Wish we could say something about the amount money being made on Cr supplements. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:33, 19 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

There wasn't much to actually merge, as the Chromium#Biological role section already discussed it adequately. I did create this small section on history, but felt the rest of the article, particularly the primary research and speculative mechanisms section, was deletable.
