Aspen Grove?

[edit]

User:Doncram: Thank you for creating this article. I am trying to figure out if this house is the same as Aspen Grove, now home to the Tennessee Golf Hall of Fame. In the following article, Morris writes, "Aspen Grove is a house that was built in the early 1830s by Christopher McEwen, who fought alongside Andrew Jackson in the Indian wars.", and he goes on to say it was subsequently purchased by the Tennessee Golf Foundation...

  • Morris, Chuck (March 27, 1997). "Saplings gave Aspen Grove its name". The Tennessean. p. 58. Retrieved December 11, 2018 – via Newspapers.com. {{cite news}}: Unknown parameter |registration= ignored (|url-access= suggested) (help)

But did Ewen own/build several houses? Both houses are on Franklin Road, so it could be the same house. User:Eagledj might be able to check The History of Tennessee Golf: 1894-2001?Zigzig20s (talk) 00:06, 12 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
