[edit]For his membership of the Westminster Assembly, [1] says he was a superadded member. But a reliable source would be good to add, since our main list doesn't have him. Charles Matthews (talk) 14:43, 16 October 2008 (UTC)
With the publication of Chad Van Dixhorn's Minutes and Papers of the Westminster Assembly (Oxford 2012) it is clear that Love was not a member of the Westminster Assembly and this point should be deleted. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.177.217.65 (talk) 19:43, 10 December 2012 (UTC)

William Erbery influenced Chistopher Love & presumably Walter Cradock & Henry Wroth etc
[edit]http://bcw-project.org/biography/christopher-love
Christopher Love was the son of a merchant of Cardiff in Glamorganshire. Encouraged by his father, he gained a reputation as a gambler during his early life, but in 1633 he heard a sermon by the radical Welsh preacher William Erbery that persuaded him to renounce his sinful ways and devote himself to godliness. ... Love's conversion to Puritanism caused a breach with his father who confined him to the top room of the family house, yet Love escaped by climbing down a rope to attend sermons. Supported by his mother and Erbery, Love persuaded his father to let him go to Oxford to train for the ministry. He attained his degree in 1639 but refused to be ordained by a bishop, regarding Episcopacy as popish and corrupt. ... DaiSaw (talk) 08:36, 1 April 2018 (UTC)
