CCPHOTOARTChristie Goodwin — The new name covers the article much better. There is still a CCPHOTOART, but there has been a rebranding and reorganisation since Christie Goodwin has emerged as a top music photographer who is in high demand in the music industry. I (Patrick Cusse) am now her full time manager and assistant. I have also updated the rest of the article, with plenty of references and updated information --Patrickcusse (talk) 15:33, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

changes

Hello, Thank you for your comments. I have rewritten the article to make it more neutral. Please feel free to continue to give me feedback and advise so that I get it right. Patrickcusse (talk) 17:16, 13 November 2009 (UTC)

advise please to make the article better

Hello,

There was a request that the article be removed. I would like some advise to improve the article. I have already rewritten it and it is now shorter, factual and neutral. I have looked at other articles about establsihed photographers as a guideline. Even the sites of the most famous photographers often lack online references, which is logical as most of their work is not online. It is not easy to prove certain things with online references if the actual proof is the fact that the name of the photogrpaher appears on a physical album or DVD as the album photographer, or is on the cover of a magazine or on a T shirt sold by a band in an arena somewhere. Any advise is welcome, we mean to contribute to Wikipedia. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Patrickcusse (talkcontribs) 11:31, 14 November 2009 (UTC)

urgent advise please

Hello,

I keep rewriting the article and I keep asking for advise but in stead of advise I keep getting threatened with deletion. First of all, about the conflict of interest. I am Christie's partner, yes. But the fact is that she is now an established photographer in the music industry, and that is why we wanted to add her to wikipedia. She is just as established as dozens of other established photographers who have articles on wikipedia, and who have only one or two external links and no references, simply because in this line of work the proof and references are to be found on physical objects (magazines, newspaper, albums, DVDs), not online. The list of albums and DVDs provided in the article can be easily checked. If for instance you look at the new DVD of Joe Bonamassa and Eric Clapton at the Royal Albert Hall, you will find her name as the photographer. If you look in the latest issue of Classic Rock Magazine, one of the leading music magazines in the UK, you will find her name and several images. There are hundreds of examples like this. We are not talking about local leaflets and local bands, but about top recording artists and media. One of the external links we have in the article is the website of Global Assignment by Getty Images. That is not a link that we can control. Global Assignemnt by Getty Images, which is the largest agency in the world, represents a select group of photographers. Is that not a valid link? So please help us: what do you consider a valid reference for a music photographer, and why does that then not apply to many other music photographers on Wikipedia?

Notability is the key to making a successful article on wikipedia. To prove that someone is notable it generally requires multiple reliable sources discussing the person. The sources do not have to be online, but they do have to be reliable and discuss the subject. Just having her name as the photographer on magazines, newspapers, albums, DVDs etc do not establish notability. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 14:05, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
Also, just because other articles exist in similar states does not make any difference. Each article is evaluated on its own merits and shouldn't be compared to other articles. ~~ GB fan ~~ talk 14:17, 14 November 2009 (UTC)
