Syriac and Iraqi texts

[edit]

I removed "and Iraqi" from the phrase "these narratives overwhelmingly derive from Syriac and Iraqi texts". "Iraqi" is not an ancient Arabian literary language, so I'm guessing the writer (or, more likely, a later editor) confused "Syriac" with "Syrian" and wrote as if the reference was to where the texts came from rather than the language they were written in (?)
