Sources

[edit]

SamHeath4, have you looked for any reliable sources at universities like student newspapers or university publications? They can be difficult to track down but the individual study centers probably know if they have been written about. Liz Read! Talk! 16:18, 9 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

About the POV and Advert tags

[edit]

DGG, I worked on this article back in 2015 and accepted it through AfC. I am not clear how it is non-neutral or advertising. It is not about generic Christian student organizations with over-emphasis on one. It is about a particular group of them. At some time this last summer an editor renamed the article from Christian Study Centers to Christian study centers. That term is used generically in the United Kingdom for organizations also known as Christian unions. I think that is the reason the editor then moved the article to its current name. However the article is about this single group of organizations. At the time it was being reviewed the originating editor faced issues of showing notability of a fairly small group of organizations. It was also necessary to indicate how they differ from older organizations while not saying more than the references say. I think the contents fairly reflect this. I think it's still so much oriented to the CCSC as to be confusing; perhaps it might be best moved to a title that differed in more than capitalization. I think that the merge suggested at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Consortium of Christian Study Centers, though necessary, will possibly result in overemphasis on the particular organization and advocacy of its ideas, but I trust your judgment . Merge from Consortium of Christian Study Centers

[edit]

I've finished merging Consortium of Christian Study Centers, keeping material which was sourced (other than just mentions). I left behind material available at the organization's website to avoid being promotional. StarryGrandma (talk) 03:35, 6 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
