Page Creation Etc.

Well I have not had much time to invest in this article but I figured I would get it started as was suggested to me by the previous author. The Christian libertarianism page used to redirect to Christian anarchism so several months ago I posted a "rant" on the Christian anarchism talk page about the lack of similarity between the two ideologies. In the same discussion, nirvana2013 responded "I would suggest starting an article stub on Christian libertarianism. nirvana2013 08:50, 16 March 2007 (UTC)".

It turns out that nirvana2013 was the author who created the original Christian libertarianism page and the redirect to Christian anarchism. Recently when I returned to edit the page and eliminate the redirect, I found it deleted with the following reason code: (CSD G7: Author Requests Deletion). I checked the Christian anarchism page and there were no arguments in the Christian libertarianism section of the talk page after the suggestion by nirvana2013 to create the stub.

I'm going to have to assume from the distinct lack of argument and the abandonment of the page by nirvana2013 that there is no objection to the existence of this page and therefore here it is.

As I have no professional scholarly writing experience, I am hoping that others will help fill this page out and keep it fair, accurate and polished. Thanks.

Liberation Theology

After looking at the liberation theology page it confirms what I thought about that philosophy, that it interprets the bible to mean that Christians are to advocate the use of force to bring about social or socialist changes. I think it would be more appropriate to put this link in the see also section if at all. Since Christian libertarians usually espouse that force can only legitimately be used in self defense and that government should be minimized, I don't think this falls under that category. It seems to me that they are more like parallels and not one a member of the other. I'll wait a few days for a comment before moving it though.

I don't know if I just forgot to take it out or if I took it out and someone put it back but I did finally remove the Liberation Theology category. I left it under the see also section but I'm not completely sure why it should be there either.

Good article review

This article is very stubby. It needs a good chunk more material to have broad coverage. There are citation templates unanswered. In general, this article needs a lot of work to reach good article standards. Please review Wikipedia:What is a good article? in order to get a better idea of what is required. Criticism of Christian Libertarianism

I removed the "POV" template because its insertion violates this standard: "Drive-by tagging is strongly discouraged. The editor who adds the tag must address the issues on the talk page, pointing to specific issues that are actionable within the content policies, namely ... Simply being of the opinion that a page is not neutral is not sufficient to justify the addition of the tag. Tags should be added as a last resort." --- ClauLeo (talk) 17:31, 21 April 2008 (UTC)

POV in the criticisms

Something should be done to fix statements like this: "People who oppose Christian libertarianism fall into basically two groups: (a)statists who oppose all libertarian and anarchist factions because these factions are perceived as threats to statist political agendas" —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.73.130.198 (talk) 15:08, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

How does this statement need to be fixed? How is it not neutral? Aren't statists and libertarians/anarchists virtually opposites, and therefore by nature opposed to one another? --- ClauLeo (talk) 15:55, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
