[edit]Erm, whoever wrote this, was their first name Christian? He did not do a good job at Spurs at all. And his champions league run hasn't restored his reputation in England at all. Very few people even remember it. I don't doubt he has been very successful in Switzerland, but to suggest his spell at Tottenham was anything other than a failure is ridiculous. He's still best known for his hilarious tube ticket stunt.
- I agree, more or less. Gross was treated quite poorly, as has every manager to step in to the White Hart Lane big top during the last 10 years or so of Circus Tottenham. By the same token, some of the language being used was ludicrous (describing a 6-1 drubbing by Chelski as "a good result" being one example). I've fixed this to some extent. Ultimately, Gross had a 33% win ratio as manager of Spurs and lost more games than he won. He was a bit unlucky to get the sack, but he blatantly wasn't a success and indeed is, rightly or wrongly, something of a figure of ridicule (despite his various successes in Switzerland). The article should reflect this, in a neutral and sourced way. Badgerpatrol (talk) 21:59, 27 October 2008 (UTC)
