Christian's Coalition vs. Christian Coalition
[edit]Didn't Cage officially refer to them as "the Christian Coalition" rather than "Christian's Coalition"? 63.215.27.136 05:43, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- I just finished watching the replay of iMPACT, and they constantly called it "Christian's Coalition". TJ Spyke 05:45, 11 March 2007 (UTC)
- The WWE announcers constantly call Rated RKO "Team Rated RKO". But the official name Edge and Orton (the wrestlers themselves) first used and still use for the team was just Rated RKO. It's the same thing here with TNA and the Christian Coalition name. The announcers may say "Christian's Coalition", but Cage himself said "the Christian Coalition".
- So, here I mentioned two examples of stables with the announcers saying the stable's name differently from the way its member wrestlers say it. Using the wrestlers' version of the name for one stable, then turning around and using the announcers' version of the name for another stable… it's kind of inconsistent, don't ya think? 172.154.141.164 23:47, 13 March 2007 (UTC)
- JR/King say "Team Rated-RKO", thankfully Tony Chimel called them "Rated-RKO" (it bugged the hell out of me that Lillian never called them by their team name, just like she doesn't know how to announce The World's Greatest Tag Team the right way). Maybe after this weeks iMPACT, although this would be good for disambig reasons (there is already a page calle Christian Coalition). TJ Spyke 00:06, 14 March 2007 (UTC)
- I say, for those same disambig reasons, we keep the article under the "Christian's Coalition" name but refer to both versions within the article. 172.148.151.131 20:39, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

AJ and Tomko are now aligned with Angle under the stable name "The Angle Alliance" Jay794 (talk) 22:24, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
- They are still part of the coalition too, at least as of last weeks iMPACT. TJ Spyke 22:29, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
AJ. Styles
[edit]Is A.J. an Offical member of the Coalition yet since he is always seen with Christian —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kevmicester2000 (talk • contribs) 21:06, 27 March 2007 (UTC).
- No, he is just helping Cage out since Cage promised him a shot at the NWA Title. TJ Spyke 21:56, 27 March 2007 (UTC)
- Well, now he is a member as far as the bigger coalition called Team Cage is concerned. But hey, that's already noted. 209.247.22.135 06:22, 21 April 2007 (UTC)
Jim Mitchell
[edit]Should Jim Mitchell still be considered a current member? Because I didn't see him anywhere with the Coalition last night on Impact, nor was he even mentioned by anyone. It was like he didn't even exist. 172.149.55.96 04:32, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
- They could be playing up him being "injured". I'm not sure about him being a member either, maybe we should wait and see if it is the same next week on iMPACT. TJ Spyke 04:35, 28 April 2007 (UTC)
Team Cage or Christian's Coalition
[edit]Seems that TNA has officially changed the stable name to Team Cage, should it reflect that on the top of the page? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.3.22.129 (talk • contribs)
- They were called The Christian Coalition last night on iMPACT! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.68.62.143 (talk • contribs)
- Safe to say they're back to being referred to as Christian's Coalition. Might wanna think about changing it back there, TJ Spyke. 63.215.27.146 00:35, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- Mayve we should wait and see if they are called that again this week. TJ Spyke 00:36, 4 July 2007 (UTC)
- And, as you can see, they were. Seriously, change the name back. It wouldn't be a wise idea to go "wait and see" all the way until the group disbands. 63.215.27.133 02:59, 16 July 2007 (UTC)
- Every time I've seen them lately, they've been referred to as "Christian's Coalition". Steveweiser 18:03, 20 July 2007 (UTC)
- That's been the case, really ever since Steiner left the Coalition. 63.215.29.163 20:14, 23 July 2007 (UTC)

Robert Roode and Ms. Brooks
[edit]shouldn't they be considered to be current members?
- I've edited the page to include them. Steveweiser 19:54, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
He was not undefeated for 23 months.
[edit]"but Samoa Joe (with Matt Morgan as the special enforcer) would defeat Cage via submission with the Coquina Clutch, ending Christian's TNA-record 23 month streak of being undefeated since arriving in TNA."
It's false, he was never pinned and he never submitted for 23 months, but he loses matches, like a First Blood Match against Abyss 2 or 3 months ago, at Impact. Being undefeated and not pinned/submit are 2 differents things. Someone can fix that since English is not my first langage. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.140.145.185 (talk • contribs)
- A decisive defeat in pro wrestling is a pinfall or submission. So usually if someone hasn't been pinned or submitted since a debut or redebut that happened awhile ago, they're usually billed as "undefeated", even if they have lost or come out on the losing end of some match or so some other way - which only negates the idea of a "winning" streak. Therefore, it is correct to say Christian had an undefeated streak going on. 172.167.34.29 20:35, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- TNA also tried saying that bullshit that Samoa Joe was "undefeated". Not winning a match means you LOST it. TJ Spyke 21:44, 11 November 2007 (UTC)
- but it's not up to us to decide, is it? Wrestling promotions use that as a loophole so they can keep a winning streak going while the person drops the title or puts someone over?--71.131.120.54 (talk) 23:32, 10 March 2008 (UTC)

Christian's title reigns
[edit]I believe Christian is a two time NWA Heavyweight champion, once as face, once as heel. On top of that, he's technically a TNA Heavyweight champion, because the morning before he would lose the title to Angle, the NWA pulled the rights to the title. (74.192.2.191 13:16, 9 November 2007 (UTC))
- He was a 2 time NWA champion. TNA doesn't consider Cage a TNA Champion since the first champion was crowned at Slammiversary. TJ Spyke 02:50, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
Safe to edit disbandment?
[edit]Would it be safe to put to info? I just did. Rollinman (talk) 03:17, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- No, because anyone watching iMPACT will see that they are still together. Cage is upset at Styles and Tomko, but they are still a group. Please revert your edit. TJ Spyke 03:19, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
- I just realized you may have made your edit before the summit. Yes Cage did say he was ending the coalition, but then Styles organized a summit between the Coalition and the Angle Alliance, and Styles/Tomko are part of both factions. TJ Spyke 03:42, 30 November 2007 (UTC)
