Ithaca Journal article
[edit]I just moved one of the articles from The Ithaca Journal from an EL to a reference. Unfortunately, the article is already archived, and, as such, I can't actually see the full story--I'm working strictly from the abstract. There's actually 3 different articles in The Ithaca Journal about Xaver, and any of them might have good info for this article. If anyone has access, feel free to add them or give more info from them (subject to WP:DUE, of course). Here's links to the abstracts:
- TC3-connected cooking show almost ready to be released
- TC3 professor's cooking show heads to PBS
- TC3 professor cooks up broadcasters among her students This is the one I already added to the article
I'm still working on the rest of the sources and general clean-up right now. Qwyrxian (talk) 01:24, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
Post cleanup issues
[edit]- Did Xaver work at WSTM-FM or WSTM-TV? Same question for WCNY.
- The article said that she has her own line of food, but I can't find any verification of this. It's possible that the news section of her website has it, but I can't access it right now for some reason. I'll try from a different computer later.
Additionally, the article could use more sources. I'm leaving on the "Notability" tag, as I think she's a borderline issue. If we could verify that that the show is broadcast fairly widely, that alone would probably be enough; also, if any of her other media work were particularly notable (like if she won any awards, or was a full-time anchor or something similar) and we could verify that, that would help. The tsunami stuff is interesting, but doesn't really establish notability. Qwyrxian (talk) 02:04, 18 October 2011 (UTC)
