Constitution
[edit]This should be described more carefully, as, although people may have had this idea, the new constitution only lays out a republican form of government for the Union and guarantees states a republican form of government. While the outlook described is understandable, it would seem to lie outside what is described in the Constitution though, again, understandable why people would believe otherwise.
