He was Director of Paralympic Integration for the London Olympics[3] and it was announced that he would be elevated to the House of Lords in August 2013 as a Conservative party peer.[4]

[7] Chris was a member of Great Britain swimming team from 1985 -2002 and Captain for 5 years. He qualified for the Seoul 1988 Paralympic Games where he won two silver medals and a bronze. At the Barcelona 1992 Paralympics, four years later, Holmes gathered a British record medal haul of six golds and a silver. Holmes went on to take another three gold medals and a silver at Atlanta in 1996 and finally one more silver at Sydney in 2000 before retiring from the sport with an impressive medal collection that also included a string of world and European titles. - Hi. This appears to be a proposed re-write, as oppose to an "addition". It is difficult to tell what is different between the currently live article and the proposed addition. However, I notice for example that the proposed re-write includes an excessive number of external links. It includes unsourced awards, which are promotional and un-warranted unless independent sources can be found (see WP:ORGAWARDS). The philanthropy material is cited to primary sources affiliated with the philanthropic events. On a tactical note, it appears to introduce more citation errors than are present in the current article. From what I did review, it does not appear to be an improvement over the current page.
