Early life and education
[edit]- None of the sources explicitly state that
his mother is of half Italian and half Irish descent, while his father is of half British and half German ancestry
- Reference 8 doesn't state birth order
- Reference 13 and 14 doesn't prove that they are related, just someone with the same name
- Reference 10 doesn't support sentence
- Reference 15 doesn't support sentence
Evans graduated from Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.[5] He later moved to New York City and took classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute.[17]
- can be merged- Also, reference 17 says
In his junior year of high school, Evans started thinking he might want to pursue acting professionally. He convinced his parents to let him move to New York City for the summer and take classes at the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute
so it doesn't say after he graduated
- Also, reference 17 says
Thanks, the above has been revised and/or corrected. L150 18:41, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
1997–2004: Early roles
[edit]- Please try and find a better reference than #18 (it is a blog based and seems to be based on IMDB)
- Reference 19 needs date published
- I think the quote is oddly placed, could use a better segue
Evans made his screen debut in the family drama The Newcomers in 2000. A year later, he appeared in Not Another Teen Movie (2001), a parody film in which he plays high school footballer Jake Wyler.
– can this be expanded? Seems like a lot of information given to us all at once. Maybe add one more sentence about both of the films.
- revised
2005–2010: Comic book films and other roles
[edit]- Reference 24 doesn't support the statement
Evans starred in the independent drama Fierce People
- I mean I guess RT is fine, but another reference would be better
- Reference 28 needs the author
- Sun doesn't need to be WL
- Need a reference for
He also had a role in the comedy drama The Nanny Diaries (2007), in which he plays the love interest to Scarlett Johansson's character.
- Need a reference for
In 2008, Evans appeared as Detective Paul Diskant in the thriller Street Kings, with co-stars Keanu Reeves, Forest Whitaker, and Hugh Laurie.
- Reference 26 needs author and date published
- revised, author and publish dates have been added for all sources where possible
2011–2017: Captain America and directorial debut
[edit]- Maybe add that he consulted with RDJ and went to therapy before agreeing to play Captain America
- Not sure how reliable stitchkingdom is
The same year
- maybe addin the same year
- revised content, updated sources
2018–present
[edit]- Back-to-back sentence start with
in 2018
- Again, lot of information sprung all at once. Please try and split it up/expand on each point (ie. how was Avengers: Infinity War perceived, what training did he do?}}
- added further content and sources as appropriate, L150 16:34, 17 October 2020 (UTC)
- I just resolved the following point: Evans made his screen debut in the family drama The Newcomers in 2000. A year later, he appeared in Not Another Teen Movie (2001), a parody film in which he plays high school footballer Jake Wyler.}} – can this be expanded? Seems like a lot of information given to us all at once. Maybe add one more sentence about both of the films.
- I also fixed citation 13, which confirms that Evans is related to a politician. However, citation 14 is a YouTube video and found no great source to confirm this. So the user may want to take the information to the talk page.Filmman3000 (talk) 18:02, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
- Lizzy150 I agree with Filmman3000 about removing reference 14. Once that is done, I will pass this. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 20:27, 19 October 2020 (UTC)

- I have another two disagreements with Lizzy150. One minor and the other somehow significant. I resolved them, Evans works from 2000 and 2001 are glued in one paragraph. I don't think they should since the 2001 project is a major film release. This is minor and I also think the logic is to keep early 2000 works together.
- The other is that he acted in one episode of Tv show during that time which I added. It was deleted since. These small credits can be skipped over sometimes when a person did a lot of tv appearance within a short amount of time, for example Jessica Chastain. I think the episode should remain.Filmman3000 (talk) 00:09, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- Filmman3000 Thanks for your input. The reason why I kept his 2000-01 works together was to reduce the amount of short, stumpy paragraphs. Secondly, I deleted one of his acting credits on a TV show because I think they're insignificant - the reader can click on List of Chris Evans performances at the top of the career section to view them all. I'm okay with the current state, but please note it's up to the first reviewer to decide.
- HickoryOughtShirt?4, I've removed the sentence with reference 14 as I couldn't find a reliable source for this. Thanks. L150 11:17, 20 October 2020 (UTC)
- Passing. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 16:26, 20 October 2020 (UTC)

Missing credits added
[edit]Hi,
I just took a look for myself and noticed some missing credits which I added for the year 2000. Some of his credits didn't have citations.Filmman3000 (talk) 05:55, 16 October 2020 (UTC)
