Pop-culture mecca?
[edit]The whole "also lived just blocks away from pop-culture mecca" sentence seems to be missing information. What is being referred to by "pop-culture mecca"? Is it a suburb? And surely the whole Ewok village bit is irrelevant. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirgarence (talk • contribs) 19:37, 18 May 2008 (UTC)
It must feel horrible for him to be named like this now.
[edit]"Now" is to say: now that the "Hollywood hacker" of the very same name (which this great musician has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING IN COMMON WITH!) has gotten to a certain kind of "fame" due to David Kushner's article in GQ magazine (which, by the way, bears more suspense than any movie I've watched in the last decade!), he will always have to emphasize that he and his namesake are individuals that MUST be kept apart under all circumstances. (A well-respected musician and a criminal should indeed not be mixed up IMHO.) I'm surprised that the other, younger Chaney (born in 1978 or 1979) hasn't yet made it on the WP pages, considering that he hacked into private (digital) property of roughly 50 Hollywood actresses and actors as well as crew people (Which is why I wanted to check that out.) -andy 77.190.15.192 (talk) 18:54, 15 January 2013 (UTC)

Collaboration with The Cult on Hidden City (2016)
[edit]I wonder why Chaney is not credited on his page for the awesome job he did on The Cult's 2016 album, Hidden City, where he was the bassist on 9 of the 12 tracks (the remaining ones being played by Bob Rock). It looks almost as if either a) Chaney wasn't doing anything at the time or b) as The Cult is dismissed by so many critics (usually thought of as a lucky-one-song band 'back in the 1980s'), it's as if 'it's not important' to mention Chaney's contribution to that album.
I'm personally curious to see if Chaney continues to play with The Cult on their upcoming album (name and date of release still unknown at the time of writing this), and, if so, if he's counted among the long roll of The Cult's players over the decades...
(Disclaimer: Cult fangirl here!)
