Neutral Point of View

[edit]

After going through this article I have noticed that it is written more like a press release than a neutral article. There is not one source to back up the claims included in the article and it continues to refer to Ms. Pierce as the #1 for various things and then refers to her as the most successful in other areas. Yet, we have no sources to substantiate those claims. The article needs to be rewritten in a more encyclopedic fashion and not so much like a professional work bio or press release. --Canyouhearmenow 23:36, 19 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, it is ridiculously hagiographic and twee. I have made a start at fixing it but it is actually making me nauseous reading the thing. - Sitush (talk) 07:11, 19 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This may be the worst article I have ever seen on Wikipedia- it may have been created to discredit this institution by proving anything can be published here. Dandlyin (talk) 15:44, 6 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

If it made you nauseous then I suggest that you really should not be doing any more tampering (and I selected that word carefully) with any more articles on Wikipedia? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.70.100.168 (talk) 01:44, 5 February 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Biography

[edit]

It looks like the biography on this post was written at least partially from one of her jokes, and is clearly not written in a format that is up to the standards of Wikipedia. That being said, I imagine it was written by some old, uptight Christian lady who saw her show and laughed for the first time in years, so I just don't have the heart to delete it. Also I just don't know the details. Someone should probably deal with it though. Alex 03:37, 24 August 2018 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexbbard (talkcontribs)

World hunger advocate

[edit]

Maybe someone can add that she is an advocate for world hunger. She had to make part of her stand up trying to force people to donate 35 dollars and get a brochure and went on and on and on about it before people left for the mid break, and for that reason, among others, people were mad and there is no way we would have her back here. We weren't there to hear stuff like that. We were out to have a good time with expensive tickets. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.216.218.202 (talk) 06:18, 25 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
