grammar

[edit]

I changed "Chloë is commonly spelled with a Diaeresis over the E" to "... also...", and removed the sentence "When we say commonly, we mean that it should be as it is grammatically correct. However, many people do not follow this rule."

I think that this claim about grammatical correctness should not be in the article without some kind of source.

Say what it rhymes with

Say what it rhymes with, so we get a better grasp of how to say it more than just IPA. Jidanni (talk) 12:10, 25 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Khloé

[edit]

Is there any particular reason why no Khloé names appear in the list of people, despite the fact that the name Khloé redirects here, and the article summation opens with the inclusion of the name Khloé (along with other variable spellings), seemingly grouping all people named Chloe and any derivative, in this article? As such I have added the name of Khloé Alexandra Kardashian to the list of people with this name, in this article... Stevenmitchell (talk) 03:00, 20 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Perhaps it's a vanity spelling? It doesn't seem like there's anyone else with that name. —ajf (talk) 20:40, 30 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

garbage spellings again removed

"In use" does not make them common or notable-have a read at WP:NOTABILITY-you can misspell any name, doesn't make it notable--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 22:50, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

While you're at it, read WP:TRIVIA, and encyclopedic content must be verifiable-this never even had a cite. Watching for your next edits.--Kintetsubuffalo (talk) 22:56, 7 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
The other variants aren't cited either. —ajf (talk) 06:39, 8 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Missing JAG

Don't know if this counts under fictional characters, but there was a Chloe Madison character, played by Mae Whitman, a "little sister" to Sarah Mackenzie's "big sister", seasons 4-7. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cornell737 (talkcontribs) 02:02, 29 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Please change the two cases of Chloe Carmichael to one instance. There are two instances of "Chloe Carmichael" in the Fictional Characters section of this article. One of them should be removed. (Personally, I'd slot the second instance in place of the first one, so it reads 'Chloe Carmichael, in the cartoon, The Fairly OddParents', but in the right place alphabetically like the first one).
