I think the numbers on the image are 25t and 23t - but I don't know what the chinese characters say.Oranjblud (talk) 00:30, 27 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HXD2C Bombardier

[edit]

http://www.bcp-propulsion.com/news_display.asp?id=62&classname=1

I think this is about the Bombardier traction equipment for the 2C version. It says 7200kW supplied by "CPC Bombardier" to CNR Datong which matches, however it gives a figure of 50 units.

May be worth checking to see if this can be confirmed as for the HXD2C .Oranjblud (talk) 23:17, 6 June 2012 (UTC)[reply]

HDX21001

This appears to be a version of the HXD2, numbered 1001 as the 1000th CNR harmony loco (or a similar number landmark) - it's not clear that it is a new design, or a new order - might be just publicity..77.86.111.19 (talk) 18:35, 6 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Toshiba/Bombardier

[edit]

quote (removed for now):

The first batch of 167 units use Toshiba based propulsion from the HXD3, while the second batch of 50 units use Bombardier Transportation's MITRAC propulsion system,[1][failed verification] with the final 3 locomotives utilizing domestically developed propulsion from CNR.[2][3][failed verification]

I didn't find anythin about toshiba in the sources, and another source mentions Bombardier CPC but doesn't give details - does anyone read chinese well eg :
