We generally use "China" as a synonym for the PRC but, if this article is only going to deal with the PRC, the name needs to reflect that. China–Holy See relations should include an entire section on the Chinese Rites controversy, along with details about De Tournon's Dec 1705 audience with the Kangxi Emperor. — LlywelynII19:55, 25 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know whether any interest remains in this point five years later, but I could go either way on it. On one hand, it seems adequately addressed by the link to see the Taiwan-Holy See page. But I certainly appreciate the perspective that it should be PRC-Holy See. After all, there is a broader page for Catholic Church in China. JArthur1984 (talk) 00:43, 9 July 2022 (UTC)[reply]
