Improving this Article

[edit]

I recently watched the documentary "Forks Over Knives" and became inspired to adopt a vegan lifestyle. What really convinced me to take the plunge, though, was this specific study. I would love to make information about this study accessible on Wikipedia so that others may also learn more about the findings of this study. I posted on the following three WikiProject talk pages requesting assistance: Wikiproject china, WikiProject Animal rights, and WikiProject Cornell University. I hope that if you are visiting this talk page that you will assist me in transforming this page into a great article! Thanks, Stephanie3460 (talk) 19:38, 26 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

[edit]

I started this page, and yes it does still look a bit minimal. Have only read part of the study on line. Glad to help, if you let me know what I can do. Not a popular article, but I agree with you it has huge importance.

Please merge this article

[edit]

Merge this article with the Wikipedia article The China Study which is a much longer article.Knox490 (talk) 01:40, 3 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Merge. Should be merged. Or both articles should be expanded with links to other article. BrikDuk (talk) 16:38, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Don't merge. The China Study is an article about a book that devotes one chapter to this study. The study itself is the largest epidemiological study every conducted, and it makes sense to have a separate page to discuss the science. It certainly meets the Wikipedia standards for notability, and could be expanded considerably. RockMagnetist(talk) 18:24, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Don't merge. I change my vote to agree with RockMagnetist. The pages need to be better connected with internal links, references, and explanation of how the book and epidemiological study being related but separate BrikDuk (talk) 18:50, 21 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
