Chili Crab Fest
[edit]The Chili Crab Fest in Brooklyn has been held in 2004, 2005 and 2006 in DUMBO, not Williamsburg. 69.116.170.107 00:45, 11 December 2006

Origin of Chilli Crab
[edit]So far introduced sources support the original writeup that the subject dish originated from Singapore. Currently there's an anonymous IP that keeps introducing text that claims Malaysia origin without giving any supporting sources. I've requested page protection as well as warned Editor on the requirements to provide sources for his edits, as tagging anon ips for edit-warring is not very effective since he/she can jump ips. If there are any sources that point to Malaysian origins. Zhanzhao (talk) 01:25, 5 February 2012 (UTC)
I'm surprised all of the ridiculous edits from 21 January have been allowed to stand through so many subsequent edits. Perhaps this article should just be reverted to the 14 January version.--202.95.177.129 (talk) 01:35, 2 March 2012 (UTC)
Right, we understand there's some debate, however, the user Zhanzhao continues to remove any information, even if anecdotal (as much of this article already is) that supports any claim or history of chili crab outside of Singapore. The fact, FACT, is that this dish is widely consumed in all of Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia on a daily basis. Stop removing references to anywhere but SG in efforts to make this a Singapore-centric dish when it quite certainly isn't. 69.181.227.179 (talk) 09:57, 26 February 2013 (UTC)
Missing information in Origins
[edit]I noticed that since Bonkerstheclowns edit, under the origins section at the end of para 1 it states The dish was said to have been popularized by ending there. Who or what is it said to popularize the dish? Can somebody put in the correct information? Orangewarning (talk) 15:07, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Information on the preparation and serving of the dish has also been left out in that edit, and I feel the article lost some flavor there. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 202.166.77.199 (talk) 03:15, 12 September 2013 (UTC)
