A fact from Chikara to Onna no Yo no Naka appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 26 May 2009 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
The statement that Roppa and Ranko Sawa became stars because of this film is dubious: Roppa was already appearing on stage and Ranko had been starring in movies for 10 years. This looks like a bad translation of the Japanese wikipedia entry, which says that stars like Roppa and Ranko were used, and it is that which made the film famous.Michitaro (talk) 22:58, 30 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
