Should redirect to Chief marketing officer

People use "CBO" for Chief business officer, and "CMO" for Chief marketing officer. The former works on the finances/profit; the latter does marketing activities. Marketing includes branding. WP is not a reliable source, but it too states: "The CMO leads brand management, [...]" You are currently reading the Talk page of Chief brand officer, which has one source (Landor.com) that abbreviates this as "CBO". In actuality, this "Chief brand officer" is just another title for the CMO(!), not CBO. An example source at Worshipful Company of Marketors here:

Also please note that we have used the abbreviation of CMO (Chief Marketing Officer), even though some organisations have started to drop the word “marketing” and replaced it with titles such as “Chief Customer Officer”, “Chief Brand Officer”, “Chief Trust Officer” and the like.

Using "CBO" for the Chief Marketing Officer would get super confusing in the real world, because everyone will think the person is a Chief Business Officer; which is what CBO is normally used for, which is a completely different job. Sure, there's also a Chief medical officer, which is also "CMO", but that's a completely different field, that's a medical expert you'll find in a hospital. Long story short, in my opinion, this article should redirect to Chief marketing officer, and then where it says "A chief marketing officer (CMO), also called a global marketing officer or marketing director,", we could simply add " or chief brand officer,", optionally using the Landor.com source, or Marketors.org I used above. --2001:1C06:19C9:400:573E:6CAD:981:8CE9 (talk) 12:54, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
