Soda carbonate

This is almost certainly a bad translation, and definitely is linked to an irrelevant article. The few recipes I could find in English did not include any kind of carbonate, leading me to think this may not be a mandatory ingredient. Could someone with better Arabic skills perhaps do a little legwork and find out what's meant? (For example, if it is a carbonate, it's most likely something like sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) or calcium carbonate (firming agent).) -- tooki (talk) 03:23, 19 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Correct name

In Arabic, hummus means chick peas. In English, however, it invariably means hummus bi tahini, the dish of mashed chick peas with other ingredients. So I question whether in English there is a dish called "hummus salad" as opposed to "chick pea salad".
