Chicago Subdivision → BNSF Chicago Subdivision – The former ICRR has a Chicago Subdivision as well. Johnson.Xia (talk) 22:51, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Oppose. If disambiguation is necessary, the form would be Chicago Subdivision (BNSF) or Chicago Subdivision (BNSF Railway), assuming no primary article. Disambiguation isn't necessary because there's no article on the ex-Illinois Central line (now Canadian National). Mackensen (talk) 23:32, 22 March 2024 (UTC)
- Whatever the name is, the move should be done. Johnson.Xia (talk) 05:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- Why? It's generally against policy and practice to preemptively disambiguate. Mackensen (talk) 11:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
- Whatever the name is, the move should be done. Johnson.Xia (talk) 05:27, 23 March 2024 (UTC)
