Footnote 24 opens a Page Doesn't Exist page on the Bears' site. Cindy.dashnaw (talk) 20:34, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

While it is in fact a dead/broken link, the footnote includes link to the archived version on archive.org and notes "archived from the original" --  StarScream1007  ►Talk  22:29, 18 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The official colors of the Chicago bears do not include 'Burnt Orange' - it is usually referred to as simply 'Orange', or, occasionally, Illini Orange.

I checked the references cited on the page for the team's colors, and did not see any reference to Burnt Orange, there, either. Simply Navy Blue and Orange.

Final note - 'Burnt Orange' is most often associated with the University of Texas Longhorns football team, and is a distinctly brownish hue, not at all like the color of the Chicago Bears. I think this info should be corrected. Thank you. 2605:A601:AB07:8F40:A1BC:B7DF:ACBA:3F05 (talk) 22:43, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Good catch. None of the three current sources specify the color as "Burnt Orange". The official hex code from the Bears brand guide [1] is included in the infobox and should suffice. It is possible their media guide referenced "burnt orange" in the past, but it does not anymore. Thanks. --  StarScream1007  ►Talk  23:11, 21 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
