Removed Kosher-styled
[edit]There is no need for this. This is not a religious article. If we must apply all religious traditions to every food article on Wikipedia it would take years to complete. No POV. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.130.189.213 (talk) 03:29, 12 June 2011 (UTC)
- "Kosher-style" refers to an all-beef hot-dog flavored with garlic and paprika. It isn't a religious reference. One might also talk about a "kosher-style" pickle, which means a brined dill pickle, also made with garlic. 99.73.137.73 (talk) 19:14, 17 July 2012 (UTC)
Mint on Chicago-style hot dogs???
[edit]Hi, I am new to this. My purpose here today is assure everyone that there are NO mint leaves on Chicago-style hot dogs. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.142.14.144 (talk) 01:51, 13 April 2012 (UTC)
I saw that too. Not sure where that came from. Ace-o-aces2 (talk) 19:01, 18 July 2016 (UTC)
Relish
[edit]Is there any info on the day-glow green relish often used? Ace-o-aces (talk) 16:28, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
- The traditional relish used is called 'Chicago Style Relish' made by Chipico (Chicago Pickle Co.), which I believe is a subsidiary of Vienna Beef (the VB logo is on the jar) and you can get it from the VB factory retail store up on Damen (which is where I picked up mine at... it may very well be available elsewhere though).Ryecatcher773 (talk) 23:02, 18 June 2013 (UTC)
