IL 110, A now forgotten road
[edit]Missouri did its part, making US 36 a good, fast, 4-lane expressway across the whole state, including the part that is co-signed with CKC MO 110. But Illinois' section of the CKC Expressway is a less fully developed highway, compared to a route between the Mississippi River and Chicago using I-72 and I-55. IL 110 has two-lane sections, stop signs, red lights, slow towns, tolled portions, and is 20 miles longer than I-72/I-55. Google Maps from Kansas City to Chicago routes you on I-35, US 36, I-72, and I-55. [1]
I'm looking for references to quote on the main article here about how CKC IL 110 is pretty much ignored.RogerD (talk) 07:11, 22 December 2023 (UTC)
